Service Description
Designed for the mental health practitioner, this training will explore the relationship between neuropsychology and exercise. We will review exercise as an evidence-based, bottom-up approach to mental health support and treatment. Learners will leave with the understanding of the relationship between exercise and the autonomic nervous system, exercise science and a template for integrating exercise into practice. We will also review the importance and application of exercise psychology. inthe support of client's long-term relationship with exercise. When paired with module two, this training will provide the mental health clinician with the background knowledge and considerations for the integration of exercise into clinical practice while respecting scope of practice.
